And no one being able to find Regina 😡January 21, 2013 at 2:12 am #169300evilqueenParticipantleast favourite? the entire episode.
January 21, 2013 at 2:53 am #169316midnight drearyParticipantThis has got to be my least favorite episode of the entire season. The characters were written out of this world ridiculous. Regina was weak and predictable. Her trusting Cora made absolutely no sense. It felt forced. I hated Cora’s scene with Mr. Gold. I hated Gold making threats to the Charming family. I hated seeing Belle smash the chipped cup. And I hated the flashbacks. The only thing I liked about them was Rumpel.
I’m actually shocked that Jane Espenson wrote this episode. She’s usually really good at writing characters, but she really dropped the ball with this one.

January 21, 2013 at 6:20 am #169325gigiParticipantWhaa, I think this episode was pretty good, full of tension and true to the characters and stuffs. Why did you guys hate it so much?
January 21, 2013 at 7:00 am #169326bellaroseParticipantI didn’t think the episode was that bad! By the way when did Ruby get super speed? and her conversation with Whale about getting a fresh start was sweet.
Did you see Rumples face when Belle smashed their cup he looked so sad he as like…..Oh my god Ive actually lost her!
Good always wins < That's just what Rumplestiltskin wants you to think Keeper of Belle's Theme Music, The Queen of Hearts Maze, Cora's Missing Heart,Tiny's Golden Harp
January 21, 2013 at 7:09 am #169327GaultheriaParticipantI liked this episode a lot. It was dark, but it didn’t take itself too seriously.
Some favourite moments:
– the doctor dressed as The (4th) Doctor
– Disney celebrating its big acquisition from King George
– Emma banging her head in frustration
– the return of Cool IgorGaultheria's fanvids: http://youtube.com/sagethrasher

Yes, while not my favorite episode of the season, I don’t think it was that bad.
Likes:
-It moved on along pretty briskly.-Great use of the Storybrooke cast. I feel that just about everyone got a fair amount of time.
-Potential new ship in Frankenwolf. It’s definitely ironic because this time last season, Dr. Whale was such a horn dog for Ruby, but this episode showed that maybe if would have been himself, they might have actually ended up together.
-Rumple was very menacing and very on the edge this episode, as he should be, and Robert Carlyle played it perfectly. Yes, it’s out of character for Rumple to shout out threats to kids, but think of the state of mind that he was in to get to that point and it makes sense.
-Regina falling for Cora’s words. I knew Regina’s redemption was too good to be true. It doesn’t mean she can’t redeem herself later on, but I think this just showed that she needed to do it for her own sake rather than just trying to get Henry back. If she only wants to get better because of Henry and not because she realizes it’s the right thing to do, she’ll likely relapse again like she did in this episode. The same applies to Rumple. If he only does the right thing because he feels he has to, to keep Belle in his life, he’s likely going to fail.
-Cora continues to be an awesome villain.
-Greg Mendell. I still don’t think he’s a normal outsider even if his phone points to that. I love that we got two mysteries for the price of one so to speak because not only is Mendell’s identity still unknown, but there’s also the mysterious “her”. It could be an acronym. It could be Dorothy, Alice, Tinkerbell, etc. The possibilities are almost endless.
-Globe thingy. One step closer to (crossing my fingers) everyone finding out that Neal is Baelfire.
Dislikes:
-The flashbacks were somewhat dull. I feel bad for David Anders because he got saddled with the guy who played his father and the guy who played his brother. The latter was somewhat okay when he was wanting to die, but overall I thought both of them were pretty bad especially compared to Anders.
-Ruby and Dr. Whale talking about how the Curse was sort of a blessing in disguise. I can see how it can be looked at that way in some instances, but I just don’t want them to get too carried away with further whitewashing of Regina’s misdeeds.
-Emma’s “power”. I’m not convinced as some fans are that she actually thought that Greg Mendell was lying, so this might annoy me later on.
