So, I re-watched “That Still Small Voice” with my boyfriend last night and I remembered thinking after watching the episode the first time along with everyone else that fairytale land is located underneath Storybrooke because we saw Snow White’s coffin and that shard of glass Regina dropped, kept on falling forever. Awesome reveal and I was like, Oh, if fairytale land is underneath us which means the only thing our heroes would have to do is go down.

But that’s not the case anymore since Emma and Mary Margaret came traveled from fairytale world back to Storybrooke via a portal that happened to come up through the well Gold used in the season 1 finale to bring back magic.

I really hope they explain why Snow’s coffin was down there in the caves/mine/under the library. It doesn’t really make sense.

I think objects with a strong emotional attachment to them were brought over by the curse.

    We have:

The chipped cup- Rumple’s memory of Belle.

Emma’s baby mobile- Snow and Charming got it for their daughter who they had to send away the moment she was born.

Hansel and Gretel’s dad’s compass- Te last thing he gave to them before he disappeared.

Gepetto’s puppet parents- Jiminy felt guilt over what happened to Gepetto’s parents because of him.

Red’s cloak- Red had to wear it to stop herself from transforming into a wolf and hurting someone.

Snow’s coffin- When Snow was believed to be dead, she was put into the coffin until Charming awoke her with true love’s kiss.

Interestingly enough, none of these objects have a positive emotion attached to them but represent grief, loss, fear and guilt.

All magic comes with a price!

Good observation and certainly room for thought.

Hmm, I never thought of that before.

Price of magic: The ring from Snow White is one with good emotions.
