“In the Name of the Brother” (January 20): Dr. Whale is tasked with mending Hook’s wounds and performing surgery on the stranger whose car crashed upon entering Storybrooke. But some of the townspeople fear that the stranger may have seen magic — which could expose their true identities to the world — and think that leaving him to die would be the best solution. Meanwhile, as Mr. Gold tries to reunite with a despondent Belle, Cora attempts to reunite with daughter Regina; and in the land that was, Victor desperately wants to prove to his disapproving father that he can, indeed, bring back the dead. Ethan Embry will guest star in this episode as well.

(I have a feeling that SwanFire will be like this too.)
Very interesting about the stranger, except after the stranger, the mysterious man, and the outsider, OUaT might run out of descriptions if they keep introducing strange, mysterious outsiders on the show.

I see her being more “despondent” over her father than Hook.
All magic comes with a price!

Although she may disapprove of what Rumple may do to them, it’s not going to make her despondent whereas something happening to her father would.

This is just a guess on my part, but I think the one who dies will be Pongo (the dog)

general rule you can't kill a dog no one ever does. the cute pet always survives I don’t know why it’s like that but I don’t recall ever seeing anything like that happen.

That was pretty much one of the reasons why I never really minded it. 🙂 And I admire them for how hard they both work on their relationship.
With Rumbelle, it seems to be Rumpelstitltskin that is the problem–sorry if this offends people that like him a lot. I really like him, too. I’m just sick of him doing the same mistakes over and over again, and getting all teary-eyed when Belle gets angry and depressed over it.
With the test subject, I don’t quite seeing Rumpelstiltskin using Belle’s father–even he surely can’t be that insensitive as to use her own father. I think he’ll use Smee or Captain Hook–I go more for Captain Hook since next episode, Dr. Whale is treating an injury of his.
I think it could be that Belle will learn about Milah. That would certainly make her question her relationship.
To be honest, I’m more interested in the new stranger and Victor’s story for this episode.
