Theory about Neal and Ethan Embry’s character:
I’m torn about Baelfire being Neal. Also I have a theory that Neal is not Baelfire and Ethan Embry’s character that comes to Storybrooke is the real Baelfire and the writers will throw us a twist and reveals that Ethan’s character will be Baelfire. Also with Gold being in New York City with Emma and Henry. It kinda makes sense if the writers throw us a curveball and make Ethan’s character Baelfire and it would be sad if he does turn out to be Baelfire but his father is not in Storybrooke. If Ethan’s character is Baelfire, I hope Belle and him become friends and he will eventually tell her the truth and that he is Rumpel’s son. After learning this, Belle tries to find a way to contact Rumpel and tell him that his son is in Storybrooke.

Interesting theory and it would have played out great however Bae and Ethan’s physical characteristics don’t match up. Bae has brown hair with brown eyes. Ethan is dark blond with blue eyes. The writers pay close attention to little details like these. Too bad though, it would have been great to see this theory play out. 😀

^Yes, we have. But someone tweeted a photo of Ethan onset a few weeks ago and he still had blond hair and blue eyes.

I thought of Ethan’s character being Bae and after Neal it seems like the best fit. That being said I think Bae is more important that what it seems like Ethan’s character will be. Also the writers love to make problems by having really complicated family trees, and Neal being Bae would lead to much more interesting story lines, by what I know so far. If I was to guess who Ethan’s character would be it would either be, Oz, Peter Pan ( even though I still think Bae gas this role as well) , one of the lost boys, or one of Wendy’s brothers or even her son or something along those lines

Well that answers that. Thanks Midnight 😀 I really would love to see him turn out to be the Wizard of Oz. However, the age thing keeps popping up and I can’t quite work around it. Same thing with Bae being Peter Pan right now. But Ethan would make a great Wizard. He did play Frick in the TV series The Witches of Oz.

@ abowlingball, of course they could do that, however, Ethan still has no physical resemblance to young Bae. Michael Raymond-James, on the other hand, does. So even with colouring or contacts, he still wouldn’t look like Bae.
