"The Outsider": Let’s have some fun!

How many of you out there like to brainstorm? I love it!

I’ve been on many advisory committees, for various purposes. A few have been with my church. On one of these occasions, our pastor said that the seven deadly words of the church are “We’ve never done it that way before”. I think the same philosophy can be applied elsewhere.

The purpose of an advisory committee is not to run the show. It’s just to brainstorm, and suggest ideas.

Let’s pretend we’re an advisory committee for a little while. Your imagination, and creative thinking are all that will be required. In the last episode, Belle said she can see the nature of the heart. She told Hook that his was rotten.

Okay brainstormers, here is your mission, should you choose to accept it: How would you have the story carry forward to change this man’s heart? What would you do?

Remember: You are borrowing a writer’s shoes. The purpose is not to write the story, or to debate whether “changing a heart” is possible. Personally, I believe there is hope for everyone. Always! The purpose of this topic is just to stretch your imagination’s muscles. The ideas you come up with may, or may not be noticed by anyone at ABC, so this is mostly just for fun.

Ladies and Gentlemen, start your engines. On your mark, get set, ……..GO!!!

**Tip: Use an outline to explain your ideas. Long paragraphs can be intimidating.
