The driver, Greg who was coming down a forested, untraveled, dark road. ( If you live in the country you know what this is like, especially with the deer running across.)
OR
Was Belle, Gold and Hook at fault for standing in the middle of the road. Just because they never had traffic before on these roads does not mean that it could not happen.
How did SB get their consumer goods… the diner, the grocery store, drug store…. deliveries must come and go some how.

I think Greg was at fault, he seemed to be driving too fast especially if it was a dark unlit road.

Keeper of FelixHaving lived down a dark country road, I’m agreeing that Greg was driving waaaay too fast. Deer, raccoons, and bears, oh my! Lots of creatures can end up in the road, even if you don’t expect possibly suicidal pirates brandishing guns.
