well, they DO have a fire department since they were on the scene in season 1 when Emma saved Regina from the fire…?😆 😆 😆
Ok, that’s funny. In all seriousness, I think that’s ground they can cover. That, and something else: They have electricity. Is their power plan local, or not? Coal burning or nuclear? Just more stuff they can use for more writing.
Perhaps Storybrooke’s fire chief is someone who spent their fairytale life in water. Perhaps Triton or Ariel or Ursula.
Alternatively it could be someone from another land, say the scarecrow from Oz, who would usually avoid fire like the plague due to the fact he is made of straw and would go up pretty fast.
