SO… after re watching this episode;I think it is possible, that there are many more stories (characters) to discover/explore in this land:
I found it interesting that the setting was in a holiday or Christmas time (there was a Xmas tree in Frankenstein house) So based on this I immediately started to have ideas:
-The Nutcracker (Holiday Special episode next year maybe?? lolz π )
-The Steadfast Tin Soldier (Could Gerhardt be the soilder?? π₯ )
-The Little Match Girl
– A Nightmare before ChristmasBased on the black and white setting/type of interior decorations and the Horror element of Frankenstein’s story; I started to think: *(I don’t know if the stories are TOO dark for a show like Once, but who knows maybe the writers can make it work with the art of being subtle):
Dr.Jekyll and Mr.Hyde
The Picture of Dorian Gray
Dracula
The RavenΒΏWhat do you guys think?..For me it would be really fun to see these classic tales come to life with a new twist in the world of “Once” ΒΏWhat more stories do you think could fit in the LAND WITHOUT COLOR?

The graphics are πΏ and started making a nice playlist on the favorite animations. They’re more of dark comedy types, which may or may not be your cup of tea but it would be fun to see these animations on OUAt now that you mention other stories for the world without color.

Personally, I would love to see Van Helsing in there π
And obisgirl, what have you done?! I don’t seem to be able to stop watching now! π

Phantom of the Opera
or
Hunchback of Notre Dame
Those would both work in LWC too.

Surely they couldn’t resist showing us their take on Van Helsing vs Dracula. I’d have that vamp at the top of my list of characters who I’d expect to see next if they explore this world more, and if they have Dracula, they’ll have to have Van Helsing too.
Van Helsing was a doctor, so perhaps he was a friend and colleague of Viktor’s? And maybe Dracula wanted to get his paws on Gerhardt to turn him into a SuperDuperImmortalMonster, and Van Helsing will protect him, being a friend of the family. (Pure speculation of course, I’m just wondering how they’d tie more characters from that world into the storyline.)

βThere were thousands and thousands of forms of joy in the world, but that all were essentially one and the same, namely, the joy of being able to love.β

I like that connection.
