Uh….forgive me if this has already been said or anything.
This might be nothing, but yeah…. I’ve been thinking on Victor’s mother. Perhaps why he has wanted so much to be able to create life was related to some childhood experiences involving his mother.
I mean…knowing his dad, his childhood could not have been a happy one. Maybe he isn’t his father’s child at all? Maybe he was adopted as his father says that he is not his son….or that his mother had him before she married his father?

    Tell me what you think. 😉 And if its stupid…. 😕 well… 🙄 😆

    Interesting point to bring up.
In Mary Shelley’s original novel, Victor’s mother dies of Scarlet Fever shortly before he leaves for college.
His mother’s death is a significant part of the story and Victors life and choices he makes.

I’m pretty interested in this mother! 🙂 Thanks for sharing that.

I thought I heard the writers discussing this somewhere before…that deep down Victor thought that if he could bring back the dead he could bring back his mother to make his father happy. It turned out that the experiment wound up being on his brother instead but the reason behind it began with his mother’s death. I could be mistaken about it but I thought I heard it on one of the podcasts.
