What if Neil turned out to be a great great great whatever ancestor of Baelfire. That could be why the blood worked, and Neil could have been warned through his family and over generations that a man would come looking for him one day, or something like that… THAT would be a good twist! Anyone agree?

I don’t want it because
1. I want my Grandpastiltskin
2. Rumple would time the curse, when Bae is still around (He had 300 years time to create it. He wouldn’t get the risk to loose his memory, magic without knowing that he is right on time. He is normally good in timing)
3. It would suck. If I waiting so long too find Bae and than he is already dead. 👿
4. Why should he run, because maybe someone from a magic world should come. Come on, you would too think your Grandparents are senil and didn’t hear what they a,saying.
5. He didn't run, because of Rumple. He didn't heard his voice. He heard only Emmas voice. I think he is running from her. Nobody should know, whohe really is, so his father Rumple can't find him and hurt him or the people he love . That would my reason to run from my true love.
6. I want to see the reunion of Bae and Rumple. I want to see the act of Robert Carlyle and Micheal Raymond-James. Oh I definitely agree and hope it all happens the way you said, but I’m starting to get really paranoid over this episode. lol something sounds too good to be true with all of these spoilers. I wouldn’t be disappointed at this point if there was a real big deep twist like that to go with it. It just wrings my mind!

Did use to think something like that may happen – finding the Bae died generations ago but Rumpel learns he lived a happy life: married, kids, and passed away peacefully at an old age.
But the onslaught of spoiler/interview, especially the Jennifer Morrison one, claim Rumpel will get to have a three minute conversation with his son – at Bae's request. Now, maybe thing will take a dark turn and it's a from beyond the grave conversation – Neal takes him to a cemetery and Emma is using magic…
What if the person Emma tracks down is someone she had put into jail in her before STORYBROOKE LIFE? oR …. instead of being BAE, Emma tackles a woman, Bae’s live in girl friend. ( Someone called Tamera is suppose to be from NY and comes to SB… I am thinking Frog Princess. Wonder if she sings. )
