    ???s IS IT REALLY NECESSARY ???

    Is it really necessary to blacken out using the spoiler & / stop spoiler text directions? If we are posting in a spoiler thread and usually label the thread SPOILER do we really need to blacken out the text? It is rather annoying after the threads are merged? Just asking cause I see a lot of that going on and I never blacken out if I am posting in a spoiler thread… I do want to comply with the best etiquette.

    If something is posted in a spoiler section for one ep, but it relates to a spoiler in a future ep, then that should probably still be blacked out, just because once an ep airs, the forums are merged, and it’ll become accessible on the non-spoiler part of the forum, even if the future ep still hasn’t aired.
