Ok, I know this has been posted before, but I gotta ask myself. Does Regina know Neal, I mean “personally” wise? Cause here’s an excerpt out of Lana’s interview:

One thing’s for sure: Regina probably won’t be happy when yet another parent appears out of nowhere to vie for Henry’s love.

“I think she’s going to be very surprised when she learns who the father is,” Parrilla teased.

Interesting! Might Regina have “encountered” Neal before? “Possibly,” she added, a sly gleam in her eye.

So I’m not gonna lie, I’m hoping RUmple is her father, but by this statement, it seems less likely. COuld Regina have known, known Neal like that, because she cast the curse, Im not sure if she could leave Storybrooke during it, but then how else did she get Henry, she had to leave at some point, so during that, could she have run into Neal during one of her outside journeys????? What are your thoughts?

Hmmm, I dunno that we can really read too much into her answer here, because the article was from before The Cricket Game, way before the time they did the Nealfire reveal, so the cast would have had to be extra coy when answering questions about Henry’s father.

I do think it will rattle Regina when Henry’s father pops up in town. Back in the pilot, Regina questions Emma about Henry’s father, and Emma says he’s a non issue. He’s sort of a BIG issue now, especially considering who he is.

Regina’s not exactly the swooning type, but she’s going to be pretty floored by this new bit of data. After everything that’s gone down between them, I’m pretty sure Rumplestiltskin is about the last person she’d want Henry to be related to…it was bad enough for him to be related to the Snowings (and she disliked Emma just for being related to him at all, before she was sure who she was).

One could almost feel sorry for her for being stuck loving the descendant of almost all her enemies.

However she reacts, I am just looking forward to it! Emma told her in the pilot that Regina didn’t have to worry about Henry’s father because he didn’t even know and now not only does Regina have to contend with Emma for Henry, but also NealFire (who just happens to be Rumple’s son??) HAHAHA.

Regina will always lose with Henry because she thinks she actually needs to compete with anyone that loves him. She wants him to herself. It’s good for Henry to have a relationship with all three of them but Regina doesn’t see it that way

Why is it so important that Rumpel ends up as Regina’s father?

One, Emma’s rejection didn’t help matters in “The Cricket Game” when Regina suggested that Henry occasionally spends a night or two with her. Two, it was Regina who was supporting the idea of Henry having a relationship with Henry . . . not Emma, whose rejection of Regina’s suggestion struck me as paranoid. Three, Henry is officially HER SON. If I were her, I would take Emma to the courts.

Yeah, Henry is her son, but Emma and the Charmings are currently the Law of Storybrooke, as much as it exists. The District Attorney (King George) in town should be locked up for murdering Billy atm, and the lawyer in town is Gold who started the season by trying to kill Regina for keeping Belle locked up. How exactly is she going to explain the whole thing to anyone from outside? Adam tweeted that within Storybrooke at least the adoption was legal, but who knows whether there are even traces of it outside SB at this point? Whoever got Henry to Storybrooke may well have covered some tracks. Meanwhile, Emma’s got a whole town of people who will back her up that Regina poisoned Henry while trying to poison her…not to mention the murders Regina’s committed both before and after the curse. Emma’s got a pretty solid claim on protective custody as the sheriff, if nothing else.

Paranoid like her son might die again? Yeah.. wait, that wouldn’t be paranoia. That’d be called being smart and cautious.

I think the quote can be pretty much considered from face value. It’s going to be interesting when she finds out her adopted son is the grandson of her mortal enemy. (Ok… maybe a bit of exaggeration on the mortal part, though I would love to see the details on how she went from apprentice to foe)

I think Regina won’t welcome another adult in Henry’s life for her to contend with, so I don’t think she’s going to be holding a welcome party for Neal yet, But who can truly say what she’ll do?… Regina’s unpredictable, Just when we think that we know her she goes and does something completely different.
