I’m not reading too much in to that comment as the same site has a since published a page merely speculating that he’s Peter Pan (and that was only speculation resulting from another article published by Hollywood Life, see below)… I’m not taking that as a confirmation yet.

The writers have been dropping hints about Neverland in recent weeks — after the March 3 episode, I theorized that Neal (Michael Raymond-James) could actually be Peter Pan, himself — and it sounds like those “hints” are about to take shape.
I still think he probably is Peter Pan though. 😉

One of the other articles from the same source said that we would be seeing Ariel this season when the writers / creators / everybody else has said nope so I’d take everything with a grain of salt. People interpret the little bits they hear very differently and then try to present them in a way that nobody else is doing when they all were given the same information. I have a feeling a lot of it is very twisted versions of what may happen, given whatever they heard to begin with.
The creators have also said no more alternate fairy tale identities will be shown this season, which leaves out definitive adding of hats to Bae unless it's in a roundabout way and hinted at – like possible Neverland connections – so while I still think he's Peter or a lost boy, I just can't blindly accept this vs what was said at PaleyFest

As others have noted, this is mostly speculation/assumption on the part of the journalist, though probably pretty accurate. Plus H&K have been known to play with our minds a bit while not exactly lying to us…
I will admit, though, I’m still not fond of Bae also being Peter — nearly as much as Daniel. However, if we see him flying in a black leather trench coat and black RayBan’s rather than a green frock and tights. Maybe a heavy metal bass line when he takes off? After all, Neal does sound quite a bit like Neo… 😈
