I think it’s pretty much a given that we will be seeing Neverland based on the titles of 2×21 & 2×22. So I was wondering who do you think will be heading to Neverland & Why
[adrotate group="5"]March 17, 2013 at 1:48 pm #180447RumplesGirlKeymasterI think there are few obvious choices: Nealfire Pan, Hook, Emma, and Henry. I think the rest of the cast is up for debate, but this is my running theory. With the arrival of Greg and probably Her (Tamara?) into SB the world is coming to Storybrooke at an alarming rate. Everyone needs to flee, especially if Tamara has an agenda that is rather nefarious. The core cast realizes that in order to stay safe and keep who they are a secret, they must all leave. Greg, realizing what Tamara/Her is up to, feels terrible that he’s caused so much pain and trouble (plus, I think he’s young Owen from Welcome to Storybrooke and will feel guilty that for the second time he’s caused problems) and decides to help out our heroes. They gave him the name Greg Mendell for a reason: some how he gets the beans to grow. As news vans start rolling into SB, everyone (The Charmings, SwanFire, Henry, Regina, Rumbelle, Hook) all pile onto Hook’s ship and Emma throws the bean out into SB harbor and the last image we’ll see of episode 21 is the ship disappearing into the water.
Episode 22 starts in Neverland and has three parts:
1) flashbacks of Hook in Neverland with coy mentions of Pan but never actually seeing him (that episode 1 of S3 which in my head has been titled “Peter”)
2) present day Neverland where the residents of SB try to come to grips with what has happened and where they are.
3) SB present day as Tamara tries to get Greg to show her how to open a portal and I think she’ll make it to Neverland because we need a villain for S3 and maybe she’s it.That’s my end of the season predictions in a nutshell.
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"March 17, 2013 at 5:05 pm #180460MatthewPaulModeratorGiven Adam & Eddy’s comments, we know we won’t see Peter or Tink directly until Season 3. If Neal is Peter, I think they also won’t reveal that he’s Peter this Season either. Mulan and Aurora could also potentially get squeezed in to the Season finale, but I think that would likely be too crammed. However, wasn’t it said that a Wraith sends a soul to another realm? Maybe Phillip’s soul somehow got sent to Neverland?
March 17, 2013 at 5:10 pm #180461RumplesGirlKeymasterHook/Cora (I can’t remember) may have been lying when he/she told Aurora that. I doubt we’ll see Aurora and Mulan again this season, or even next season. It would be too many people and I think that’s one thing that hurt them this season, introducing too many background characters. Unless while journeying to this “other realm” they stubble into Neverland, I doubt we’ll be seeing them anytime soon.
They definitely won’t reveal that Neal is Nealfire Pan until S3 (and if he’s not, we still won’t learn who Pan is until S3)."He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"March 17, 2013 at 6:29 pm #180472emma-bae-henryParticipantRumpelsGirl – wow I like your theory very much. Thanks for sharing 🙂 I cannot wait to see these two episodes. Also thanks for all the postings. I enjoy reading them very much.
Swanfire fan 😀March 17, 2013 at 6:46 pm #180474MatthewPaulModeratorI don’t know, someone on twitter asked Adam if we’d be seeing Mulan and Aurora again, and he replied “good question!” Normally when he says a response like that he is hinting at something in the works. Eddy and Adam also said at PaleyFest that the end of the Season would tie in much of what was established throughout the Season, and that could very well include Mulan and Aurora’s storyline. The way those characters were established feels like the story was setup to be concluded later this Season. They might also want to make sure they can finish off that story before Sarah Bolger potentially becomes unavailable, since she is starring in a pilot for another show. I don’t think Cora was actually lying, either. They wouldn’t write her to drop those details without any sort of setup in mind, and she normally doesn’t lie for no good reason. She didn’t lie about the globe that found Bae nor did she lie about the candle.
March 17, 2013 at 6:51 pm #180475RumplesGirlKeymasterHmmm. I must have missed that tweet. *sigh* Well that puts some holes into my theory. I know both Sarah and Jamie are doing other things come this fall, so if they want to wrap up Mulan and Aurora, they need to do it ASAP. I can’t see why Aurora and Mulan are in Neverland, unless that is where the Wraith takes souls (but that makes no sense in my head). Maybe we won’t actually see them so much as hear about them. Perhaps they passed through Neverland on their way to this other realm and that’s how they’ll wrap them up?
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"March 17, 2013 at 6:57 pm #180478PriceofMagicParticipantPerhaps Henry ends up getting sent to Neverland alone, maybe courtesy of Rumple, and becomes press ganged into being one of the Lost Boys. He would then meet Peter Pan. Whereas Peter and the Lost Boys want to stay young and play in Neverland forever, Henry wants to go home and grow up. Since Peter nad the Lost Boys are anti-adult, it wouldn’t make sense for Emma and company to be with Henry.
However, since Emma doesn’t want to leave Henry in Neverland, she finds a way to get there with Neal. Hook tags along too as their guide. Bae, perhaps being a former lost boy, would know where Peter’s hide out is whereas Hook doesn’t. Both Hook and Neal would have to go because Hook has the means to get to Neverland (his ship enchanted with fairy dust) and Neal would have the local knowledge (where Peter Pan’s hideout is).
During the course of season 3, the CaptainSwan/Swanfire triangle can play out with Hook and Bae trying to one up each other in Emma’s affections.
All magic comes with a price!

Yeah, didn’t they say something about how the first part of the season wouldn’t make sense, or would have been pointless, or something like that, (don’t remember the exact wording), if they weren’t planning to the end the season the way they are? I could see Henry and Rumple ending up back in present day FTL, and some of the others (Emma, Nealfire, Hook at the very least) ending up in Neverland, thinking that may be where they went, so that’s where they start their search. Meanwhile, in FTL, Aurora and Mulan run into Henry and Rumple, who is able to help them find Phillip’s soul, given that he knows about Wraiths, and that wraps up that storyline from the start of the season.

I like this theory, but I’m going to put my own spin on it. Given Henry’s hate for magic and mistrust of the adults in his life, I can see him running away to Neverland (perhaps just like his dad did). What if Henry stills a bean or hitches a ride with a fairy (following the immortal directions to Neverland)?
As for Emma and Bae going to Neverland to look for Henry – I like this. I also like Hook being their guide through Neverland. However, I think Hook is a grown up Peter Pan, which will be explain in season 3. So when we get to Neverland in the story’s present, I think Pan will be long gone.
