I love Once, and though I am very happy w/ the story line and costumes… I have to wonder… Will there be vampires? Not to make Once any kind of bad, but I need to know if these iconic characters will play a role. I don’t mean wannabe’s like that of Twilight or Vampire Diaries, I mean a believable vampire who cannot go into sunlight. This is something I think a lot about, because I’m allergic to the sun (and this is way past my bedtime…)
But, will vamps play a part, and if they do, what will their reaction to the sun be?… And what will they wear?…
I’m a designer, so I think about that as well. All of my designs look like the could come out of OUAT, so I definitely think about that.
But, for me, vamps would be nice, just as long as there was no sunlight. I feel the vampire’s curse already, I don’t need to see a vampire not experiencing it, or rather having another reaction to the sunlight, or even in the sunlight at all. But the vampire could be a human in Storybrooke, just allergic to the sun, like me, and unwilling to go out during the day, as you would be too if you felt this.

If vampires were to appear, it would probably be in either the land without colour or possibly FTL past or present. Maybe Neverland?

Could be, or it could be in another world altogether. But, they changed Mary Shelley’s world enough, I guess, why not add vampires? But I think it would be better if they came from the Enchanted Forest, I have problems with how much they changed Frankenstein.

I always thought of the land without colour as kind of the land of old horror films. All the classic movie monsters would be there: Frankenstein, Dracula, The Mummy, The Wolfman but perhaps not as we traditionally know them.

Nice way to put a spin on that. Their universe created another alternate universe where, just like the fairytales we know and love, the horrors we’ve grown to know change as well. I wonder if they’re going to do a Jekyll/Hyde thing now? Hmm… But, if you combined all the horror stories, wouldn’t that be problematic… I don’t think the monsters would all get along like in Hotel Transylvania… And whatever did happen to Frankenstein’s brother/creature… But, what if it was like that, I smell a bloodbath.
Gosh, wouldn’t it be funny If the vamp made friends with Ruby?
I ramble sometimes, and my thoughts have a link, but sometimes they’re confusing, so sorry if I go off topic, which I do.

If they do Jekyll and Hyde, they could go several ways with it. They could make the character female and have the name Jacqueline Hyde, or they could have a character with an alternate personality or they could have a good twin/evil twin.

The wolfman has kind of been done with Ruby but Dracula would be interesting to see.

I think it would be interesting to see a vampire in Once… I’m not really sure how they could add it though – and how it’d fit into the storylines… Jekyll and Hyde are pretty much similar to James and David – the whole evil twin-thing. So I don’t think they’ll do that.

That’s true, Jekyll is David, Hyde is James. Never made that connection.
If they did Dracula, I wonder what his accent would be…. Would they make him do a transylvanian accent or not? Don’t know, but whether Drac or another vampire, just as long as they can’t go into the sunlight, I have no beef.
