Regina removed something from a cloth bag that was the trigger for the fail safe to the curse. What did she take? How does it work?

I had completely forgotten about it from season 1 when Henry and Archie were in the mines. I remember wondering that was even there and now we know! Loved it.

Honestly my first thought was of the Resurrection Stone from Harry Potter haha. I have not idea what it could be though, I don’t remember seeing it in SB. Maybe there is something inside it?

I’m not sure how it works, but it might be the case it works similar to fairy dust. One thing is for sure, if it falls into the wrong hands it will spell certain doom for SB.In the 10-minute promo for 2×21 it looks like a ruby, and Tamara gets her hands on it! Be very afraid..

Yes, I loved that! Now we know exactly why both the coffin and DragonMaleficent were brought over. Very cool that there was actually a specific, important reason.

I mean, Rumplestilskin created it to find Bae and it doesn’t seem like he planned to get back to EF after finding him and like Regina told Hook it can kill him. So why would he do that? Maybe because he is a coward? Or maybe because he didn’t created the curse and just changed an existing one. But who else would be able to create such a dark curse?
I’m little bit confused now.^^“There were thousands and thousands of forms of joy in the world, but that all were essentially one and the same, namely, the joy of being able to love.”

I’m little bit confused now.^^There are two lines of thought. One is that Rumple created the fail safe but lied to Regina about what it would do. In this line of thought, the fail safe actually takes everyone back to the EF without killing them. The other line of thought is that Regina is responsible for the fail safe and wrote it into the Curse at the same time she changed it for the “please” clause with Rumple. If that’s true then it probably does kill everyone.

Loved that not only was the failsafe in a location that no one thought Regina would go (the dragon dungeon under the closed Library) but also in a place (Snow’s coffin) that no one thought she would want to touch. Touche writers, touche.
Also explains why Snow’s coffin was below Storybrooke in season 1… YAY FOR NEAT ENDINGS 🙂
