ParticipantHeres a theory for ya:
Peter Pan is known as the boy who never grows up, correct? Well what if that’s what he wants? Eternal life…eternal youth…all that jazz and the only way that he knows of achieving such things is still it from others (much similar to how that magic candle can swap the life of a dying person with a living one.) My theory is Pan wants eternal youth and life so hes found a way to do that, which somehow involves ripping the shadows from young boys. HOWEVER, this only gives him temporary youth and life.
Sooo I figure, Henry is a product of True Love right? What if his life energy or shadow is enough to permanently give Pan what he wishes? It would explain why he takes children and why he wants Henry.Sound plausible?

KeymasterThat’s a very good theory. And I agree that Henry is a product of true love and that is a major factor. He is also a child of two worlds, having been born here but of two FTL characters.
I also think you should mail this theory into Oncepodcast."He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"May 13, 2013 at 3:14 am #193583Demileto
ParticipantBut why Peter would need to do this if that’s precisely Neverland’s purpose, to keep him a perpetual child?
I’d suggest a small change to the theory, that what keeps Neverland as a place where you never grow old is precisely Peter’s sacrifices of kids and/or their shadows, and Henry’s uniqueness would make him the sacrifice to end all sacrifices.

KeymasterYes, I love that idea. Demileto. Seriously, someone send this in or: OI! Slurpeez. If you read this, I think this is really solid.
EDIT
Sometimes I think if I yell for someone on the forum, they’ll magically appear.

You know, I think I understand now why we only saw Peter’s shadow in “Second Star to the Right” thanks to this theory. Peter’s fear of growing up must be so pathological he doesn’t risk leaving Neverland, sending his shadow out of it when he needs to do things on other realms.

SpectatorThere was a comment from Jan Epenson the writer which stated something to the fact that not everyone made out of true love has magic so I don’t think Henry does. Emma because she came in a magic cabinet and from FL.
What about that baby that be Robin Hood’s how does that fit in now? ❓ I wonder do you think Robin Hood maybe Hook’s dad ❓

No the timeline is way off for Robin Hood to be Hooks father.

ParticipantDemileto–that is a creepily good theory.
We know whoever PP is, he must have prophecy powers. Or else he couldn’t have that picture of Henry. He can make portals between worlds–and communicate somehow between them.
Yet I’m still trying to figure out the connection to science, and why Greg and Tamara used science to block magic, if they are working for PP in a magical realm.

I dont think Pan can see the future, but it seems to me that fairies are probably powerful enough to have some way of finding out the future and his sidekick is Tinkerbell.
This really coincides with my other theory I posted about Maleficent once being Tinkerbell. I mean Pan is already going to be dark and Maleficent is a dark fairy as it is. It really fits.
