Some notes/thoughts on the official podcast from A and E after the finale. Feel free to chime in! It is now on iTunes.
–We’ll never know if Rumple would have actually killed Henry.
–Rumple realized he failed as a person. (I cry)
–Henry has always loved Regina, but there are times when he doesn’t like her.
–Rumple didn’t want Belle to see what he has become and that’s why he was almost unwilling to give Belle the potion.
–A and E miss Lacey. That’s sad boys, but please leave Belle, Belle.
–Emma is freaked out by how much magic she has. (Hmmmm. Unwilling apprentice)
–Rumple is trying to protect Belle by leaving her behind from his own doom. He doesn’t want her to see him die. (I’ll be over in a corner crying)
–Bae feels very unloved by everyone except the Darlings.
–Hook really would have let Bae stay on the JR forever even if he had already contacted the Lost Boys to come take Bae
–Philip saved from Wraith, story to be revealed in S3
–NO TIME TRAVEL. Neal landed in present day FTL
–Do the Lost Boys want to kill Henry? S3 major story
–NOT the friendly Lost Boys. Felix is a scary figure to A and E (they call him Felix. It’s his name for real)
–A little bit of Lacey will always remain in Belle
–Will Emma want to learn more about magic? Maybe, but she HAS to learn and we will see that
–Regina is not marked anymore, the Wraith only marks one at a time. The Wraith cannot multitask.
–Wardrobe that transported Emma was not a conscious reference to the Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe.Ok, those are my notes. Feel free to add more.

I mean he is currently in present day FTL. He did not time travel back in time to FTL of the past. When MAP found him, it was present time.
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"The MAP stuff sounds like it’ll be season 3 which confuses me because I thought the actors had scheduling conflicts but when they’re talking about Phillip escaping the wraith they say that for the details you’ll have to tune into season 3. Maybe more the tail end of season 3, we’ve got other stuff to do first.

Jamie and Sarah have both been picked up for tv shows for the fall. Jamie was so busy she couldn’t actually be on set, which is why Mulan was wearing her helmet. I hope they keep whatever they need to tell about MAP very short. Like…super short. The trio was never my favorite and I’d like their story wrapped up right quick. That was a shock of last night: we got 10 seconds of them and I thought we’d come full circle and end their story.

Her backstory? Now that Sarah’s new show has been picked up, I sort of doubt it. Unless they have her explain her backstory in dialogue in S3 since we’ll obviously be seeing her again next season.

"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"I liked them more later on (though honestly, my favorite of Mulan was when she was interacting with Belle, not the rest of MAP) but Aurora was just getting her spunkiness and I definitely wanted Phillip rescued. I’m more curious about:
1) How did they save him from the wraith?
2) What is the backstory and how does it all relate back to Maleficent & Regina’s friendship (I want Mal backstory)I think overall we won’t see MAP much at all, especially because of scheduling conflicts but at the same time they were definitely shown with Neal so…we have to see them at some point right??
The scheduling conflicts are making my brain hurt.
On a side note, Jorge Garcia’s show wasn’t picked up so we could see Anton again if needbe but not sure how much time we’re spending in SB unless something major is going on there to set up a way for our core cast to come back. So hypothetically Anton is still hanging out with the dwarfs and protecting SB. Good to know.
I was reading a recap last night and they included Archie being on the ship which was way out of left field because he obviously wasn’t there so I wonder how much stuff may have been changed? (I think it was from one of the people who gets to watch stuff early so that their recap is up super fast and Raphael Sbarge’s show was just picked up meaning he wouldn’t be able to join them on the ship anyway). But, we still saw Neal with MAP so we’re gonna have to see them again at some point if we’re going to see any of Neal.
Perhaps since they had them there they at least got some stuff filmed for Neal with Phillip & Aurora to use for later, but I’m not sure how they could explain Mulan covering her face and not talking for very long. She’s kinda mouthy usually and always has an opinion, I’m just not sure how that would work! And we know they don’t like recasts.
If they had planned on using MAP in a big storyline for season 3, they wouldn’t have let them go do pilot season and risk getting picked up. I feel very strongly about this. Unless they asked them and the actors all said nope, I want to do something else but will try to pop back in later there would have been issues and they probably would have just been written out.
It seems like season 3 will focus heavily on the core cast (yay!) but they’ve backed themselves into a corner regarding MAP since they were seen with Neal which means that as long as he is in present-day FTL with MAP, they have to be seen at some point and nothing on this show is ever done in under an ep (I don’t see Neal making it back to SB super fast and them just choosing to stay behind and rebuild their land – which is a plausible excuse to stay behind because it’s what their dream was to begin with and now that Phillip is back they can start doing that…but I don’t see it happening super fast, fast enough to not have the actors for long.)
I’m trying to remember if MRJ is working on another project right now. They might be able to grab that group of people to film stuff before the regular filming season begins on all the other shows, especially if it’s not as much material as the core cast would be getting. IE: if they don’t plan on focusing much on MAP + Neal, they could shoot a bunch of it ahead of time and have it spread out throughout the first part of the season if needbe. I don’t think we’ll get a lot of episodes that are focused on present-day FTL again, even with Neal there but just little bits. Too much going on in Neverland, especially knowing the acting conflicts for the present-day FTL group.
