I was a bit disappointed that we didn’t get to see Ruby in the finale or SSTR. I know she was booked for a pilot or whatever, but it seems very telling that she may not be back for good if she didn’t even make the finale. I don’t know if her story can be wrapped up like that, she was noticeably absent for me, and I don’t even care for her too much.

I was disappointed as well. But I believe she was busy shooting her pilot at the exact same time that they were shooting the final two, as you mentioned. But A and E have said on several occasions that because both shows shoot in Vancouver we will see her, if more rarely.

I too was hoping to see her in the diner! I felt like when they got on the ship there needed to be a heart-to-heart between Snow & Ruby, asking her to stay behind and guard everyone. For now, in my head Ruby is with Granny and Belle and the dwarfs and Anton and Archie and that they are taking care of things on the SB front.

I think we may see Anton at some point because Jorge Garcia’s show wasn’t picked up (guy can’t catch a break, Alcatraz was awesome but cancelled, now the pilot he was on didn’t get picked up) but I love Anton so I’d be happy to see him working with them again. Would have been nice to see him hanging out with the dwarfs though. I was happy they got to celebrate getting Sneezy back but that doesn’t mean that Anton should get kicked out!

Seriously disappointed at no Ruby as well. I hope the actress has enough time schedule wise to handle even one red centric episode next season, since she and Granny are by far my favourite characters.

The character deserved at least a brief bit of dialogue with snow, as mysterykat25 suggested even being asked to guard the townsfolk in their absence. Anything to explain why they arent taking arguably their most powerful trustworthy ally to a land apparently under a constant full moon, to fight “someone we should all be afraid of”. Seriously, she could shift whenever she wanted.

At least we got some good grumpy moments tho.

Me too. I really wanted her to meet Lacey for one thing! I feel like the last time we saw her was when she visited memory-less Belle in the hospital. I really want to know what her reaction to Lacey would have been, considering the way Ruby used to be… But maybe when she shows up on the show again they can hang out and fill each other in, because Belle will be without Rumple after all, so she needs bonding time with somebody. Leroy might step up for that, actually…

And it was so cool to get to see Granny guard Henry instead. But STILL. It SUCKS how often actors go missing on this show without any explanation in character! Sigh.

What do they need to guard? Gold gave Belle a curse to protect the town so they don’t have to do nothing except figure a way to get home. 😕

A farewell phonecall would have been sufficient for me too! lol
