Because there’s been so much focus on the Charming family, Regina, and Gold, a lot of the other characters have become barely background filler. Which one(s) do you miss the most?
Personally I miss Hatter. I know Sebastian Stan is busy with other projects, but he was instantly one of my favs the first time they showed him. Plus, if he was available to Regina and Emma in the finale, they wouldn’t need the beans, would they? Just his hat, especially since Storybrooke had magic again.
I also miss Dr. Whale. He’s kinda been there, but since his big reveal as Dr. F, I expected that to have more of an impact somehow.[adrotate group="5"]I also miss Whale. After the big reveal, my husband (a scientist with a penchant for rayguns) was super excited, and we were both really hoping to see more of him. I guess he sort of fell by the wayside. I’m actually hoping that while the main story of S3 will be in Neverland, we’ll get to cut to FTL and Storybrooke to see how “the other guys” are doing. I really love underdog stories, so it would be great to see other characters pull together and make something big happen. ^_^

I miss Jefferson with every episode that passes by without him. ;______; I loved that their take on the “Mad Hatter” was much darker than the typical presentation. When he talked about his separation from Grace, I felt so bad for him… despite him having essentially kidnapped Snow White and tied her and Emma up… He’s just such an intriguing character, I feel like there’s so much more that could be done with him. Of course, with Sebastian’s schedule, that would prove to be difficult. 🙁
I also miss August already. In the same way Jefferson has so many different sides to his character, I love the complexity to August’s character too. Present-Pinnochio/August does not count. That was an awful decision. A person’s memories and experiences are an integral part of them and reverting August to that state of childhood wasn’t far off from killing him (and since when could wood even conduct electricity, grr…). But yeah, with August you see the inner conflict between having to keep his promise to his father to look after Emma and simply taking advantage of the world, having to choose between responsibility and a selfish? kind of pleasure, a conflict I’m sure we’re all familiar with though perhaps on not such a great scale…
So yeah, I miss those two. 🙁 🙁 🙁
