Hey guys!!!Anyone else read Artemis Fowl fans here?I tried to get my niece into it,but she just won’t go for it,and no one else seems interested…..I personally find them both fascinating and hysterical!!!!!Oh and there’s a new movie being made too!!!!!!Hoping that it’s Disney who does….fingers crossed

i like them a lot. in fact i asked in chat once about them and no one had seemed to hear of them. oh well i guess its because of better and more popular series. a friend said that Harry Potter will definitely be remembered from our generation and become a classic but I suppose that Artemis and Holly will not. rip to commander Julius Root.

LOVE Artemis Fowl! I’ve met Eoin Colfer about 3 times actually – he’s from my hometown. He’s a nice guy 🙂 very reclusive now obviously lol

where are you getting this movie information? i once heard of a movie but then it got scrapped. i hope what you are saying is true. if so i will have to see if i can find them again and reread them. you know who would be great for Julius Root? Jamie Dornan. seriously he has the tenacity and type of accent to play Root. I dont know who would cast as Artemis though. keeping wiht my once casting how about Amy Acker for Holly? lol Once has corrupted my knowledge of actors (then again maybe Amy Adams would also be good for Holly)

Eoin Colfer tweeted it about 4 months ago.I’ll try to find the tweet for you.He said Disney was going to be partnering with….some other studio whose name I can’t remember.
