I think for me the idea that these are the writers of LOST where everything was real that happened to those characters makes me think that everything is real here. Also we have seen that there are objects from the fairytale world in Storybrooke like Snow’s glass coffin, the unicorn mobile, Snow’s ring, the genie’s lamp. And in the episode where the queen killed the Sheriff she actually held his heart in her hand and squeezed it and it killed him, so the Evil Queen did actually pull his heart from his chest and put it in a drawer. That happened.
