41Rapunzel I was just reading a wiki page that said episode 20 – The Stranger is supposed to focus on Pinocchio. the episodes title and short summary on it makes me thinks all of out theories on August be a test run for Gippetto might just be right!!
You could be right. It seems more and more likely that the mysterious stranger (aka August W. Booth) is Pinocchio (unless the episode title The Strager is meant to be a red herring). The idea that August always tells the truth, but then went on to mislead Red about there being lemurs in Nepal, agrees with the Pinocchio story line. Although Pinocchio was always supposed to tell the truth, he actually often lied, which is why his nose grew long.
