And season 2 starts exactly as the first began. Oh, I wouldn’t put it behind Kitsis&Horowitz to do exactly that. x_X
Then again, the episode is called A Land Without Magic, so maybe all magic is somehow whiped out in SB, thus the curse would also be broken (no magic, no curse) and that’s where that seen comes from. They remember because magic is gone and so is the curse. Somethign happens and BAM time stops and everything goes back to normal, because the curse wasn’t broken the way it was supposed to – not through Emma, but through something else.
