I’d guess that if any kiss was going to break the curse, it’d be David and Mary’s, or more specifically, Charming and Snow’s. As we learned in “Heart of Darkness”, you can’t have true love’s kiss if the participants aren’t aware of who they are, so that’s why nothing happened when David and Mary made out. I doubt it’d change anything if Gold and Belle kissed, because it wasn’t their love that went into creating the curse.

On the contrary, I suspect bringing back his love would make him all the more powerful and determined. Might throw him for a loop at first, but once he was over the shock…look out Regina, coz there’ll be hell to pay. Surely she’s aware of this, so has been keeping Belle a secret and will only reveal her under some circumstance that’s been carefully orchestrated.
