Yes- this is exactly why I’m pushing so hard for the Pinocchio theory! There needs to be an adult on Emma’s side who knows fully what’s going on, and a child who grew up remembering is just the ticket! I love how August is being so patient with Emma…leading her into believing bit by bit rather than trying to throw it all on her at once as Jefferson did.
