I’m just curious. Does anyone else think it might be as simple as August is Jack from Jack and the Beanstalk? It would explain why he isn’t under the curse and has come from outside Storybrook. The Blue Fairy did say the other beans got away from her. Jack used the beans, came to our world, and is trying to get back to the other now. Maybe he knows Baelfire and that’s where he’s got so much of his information on Rumple from.
