So are you saying that craziness can manifest as it travels to our world? It becomes more implicit? I would say he would go more crazy seeing that she’s happy without him and he doesn’t have her.

Thank you, Sam! Your thoughts were really insightful too 🙂 As for the reflections, I think they represent Jefferson’s knowledge that the worlds are very close together and that knowing how close they are, without being able to cross over them, adds a bit to his madness. But it would be interesting if somehow moving between the worlds intensified that madness — like turning up the dial on a pressure cooker.
