I agree that there is something very special about Henry. I like to think that the Curse being enacted by Regina will lead to something meaningful and something that wouldn’t have happened just like how if Rumple hadn’t needed the true love potion, Snowing and Emma being a child of theirs likely wouldn’t happened, and the first part of it would be Bae and Emma being each other’s true loves and the other part would be Henry.
Plus, while I’m not sure if Bae will ever be able to truly forgive his father for everything, I think it would make Bae a lot more conflicted about wanting to forgive his father if he realized that he would have never met Emma had they both gone into the vortex or if his father hadn’t created the Curse.
That might be me. *raises hand* I had to go searching for it, but I remembered writing a big long thing about it and posting here and at Fanforum. They weren’t too enthralled by the idea over there.
Aw, I guess I can see why some people wouldn’t like the idea since they could be against the idea of every character on the show only getting one true romantic love, but then I wonder why they would watch it since that’s what happens in fairy tales. I really love this theory though and hope it turns out to be true.
I don’t think they should use any weird DNA testing or blood type things to further the plot. I think that Henry’s father is just going to come into town.
Yes, before magic was reintroduced, I thought that DNA testing or someone needing a rare type of blood or an organ donation of some kind, might be how everyone finds out that Rumple is Henry’s grandfather, but now I think it will likely happen in some other way.
The first idea is that maybe there’s a magical equivalent to a DNA test, and while trying to find where Bae’s at, Rumple does his spell thingy, and somehow discovers that Henry is Bae’s son. Or maybe Rumple does a protection spell at his house and shop where only family members and Belle would be allowed to enter, and Henry is able to enter making Rumple realize they’re related to each other.
The other idea is that Rumple uses his favor to have Emma find Bae, and then they both come to realize that Bae is Henry’s father. In this kind of scenario, I could actually see Regina wanting to find Henry’s father for some reason, so that all three are looking for the same person, and everyone except Rumple is horrified when they discover Henry’s dad is Rumple’s son.
