Okay this is the third time I have tried to post this..Anyways I like the idea that Quinn is Merlin and Anita is Morgana, like Anastasia was Aurora, and Mongolia was Mulan which were my first initial guesses on those characters. I could see Morgana being a mentor to Merlin at first, and then him choosing to defy her once he realized what lengths she was willing to go to in order to protect those like herself. Given her description I would not be surprized if those like herself would include Regina. I could see the story playing out that Red asked Merlin for help if he was indeed responsible for giving Granny the red cloak, during the battle to take back the kingdom and Morgana insisting that both he and Red should give their loyalty to Regina and Rumple rather than people without magic like Charming and Snow. Just a theory that popped into my head after reading the casting calls..
