What do you guys think?
I really like this theory. Now that I know for sure that Bae is in NYC, but unfortunately I don’t know where at this time, I was thinking about NYC and why they chose NYC in particular. I thought we’d find him in Boston because of the Beantown nickname, but I was thinking it’s certainly possible that he landed in Boston or around there, but is now living in NYC. I just wonder if they chose NYC for some reason other than it’s on the east coast and they didn’t want to use Boston again or because of some other reason. For instance, my mind immediately thinks of the New York Giants as being one of the big reasons they might have chose NYC to be where we find Bae again.
he gient can smell the residual magic left from home on the people (fee, fy, fo, fum, i smell the blood of an english man–anyone else hear that version?) and Bae works with/for him to creat some sort of network/underground railroad type thing to help them out, possibly with BF as their connection inside Storybrook. That’s how they get intouch with Emma, the gient can smell the magic in her blood, but she gives no indication that she knows anything about one of the other worlds.
Unfortunately I can’t find it right now, but I know there was a theory about the walls between worlds weakening now that Gold brought magic here, probably where he wasn’t supposed to. I think at the time, I didn’t like it only because I want them to focus on Storybrooke now, but now that I’ve thought about it, it would be a good way to prolong the show and add life to it as long as it’s done in a clever and interesting way.
Anyhow, your theory reminded me of that because there had to be other realm jumpers besides Bae at one time or another because I think they must have gave us knowledge of their magical world for us to know of their world. I hope that made sense because there was another tear jerking Bae story that I just read recently about how he ended up reading all the tales of his father that were written here, and how he feels unloved and unwanted because they never mention that Rumple had his own child. So I was thinking that hopefully the show will explore how we already know of these characters in our world if they come from some other world. It doesn’t have to be a really complicated reason or anything, they can just throw in a line or something about realm jumpers, and that’s how we have this shared knowledge of each other world’s or something like that.
Maybe here he gets intouch with BF, and she explains who Emma is and asks him to watch over her, maybe a bit like Augest was suposed to. But he realizes that she isn’t ready to beleave, that she won’t without proof and he can’t give her proof without magic, something that isn’t here and he wouldn’t mess with even if it was. He decides to stick by her and they fall in love. (I like to think this is the Tallahise part–when she was talking to MM, it seemed like whatever henry’s dad did really hurt and i don’t think she would let a quasi one night stand get behind her walls enough to let them hurt her that much)
Yes, I think it must have been more than a one night stand type of thing. Heck, I see a lot of Graham/Emma fans complaining about how the show has forgotten Graham, and that seemed like a pretty significant relationship for Emma, although I don’t think he was her true love. The fact that she spent so much time in Tallahassee and still sounds bitter about Henry’s father definitely makes it seem like there was something pretty significant there at one time.
Of course, I would prefer that he’s not too bad. I mean I’m sure he’s not a saint and because of the circumstances that lead him here, he probably didn’t have a lot of options on what to do, which lead him into doing illegal things. I just don’t want him to be too big of a jerk since the description for “Jack” sounded like he was a shady guy but not a nasty one sort of like Once Upon a Time’s own Sawyer.
