Interesting theory. I was also surprised by the relationship between Rumpel and Jefferson. I never would have guessed that Jefferson met Rumpel before Regina did. Someone brought up the idea of Jefferson being Rumpel’s apprentice, kind of like the Sorcerer’s apprentice. That would be a cool twist for Jefferson’s character.
