Did it not stem from a tale? I guess I assume all disney movies have stemmed from some story:D
In my head I don’e see it like the cartoon Halloweentown, i do see more of a Transylvania type setting. But with the black and white old horror movie setting, and all the talk about werewolves and vamps I thought about that movie and how all those kind of characters are halloween characters and this world would be that kind of world. Adding characters with names of Jack Skeleton and Sally, would be a fun nod to that movie. Jefferson’s hat reminded me of the doors in the trees that Jack Skeleton finds.
