True. There’s definitely some holes right now; although I think that they can be got around depending on how they do an impostor story line if they do it. In order to keep Cora hidden in Storybrooke since I do believe that she and Hook either arrive before Emma and Snow or at the same time only perhaps in a different location while everyone else is focused on Emma’s and Snow’s arrival, and not have to use Barbara Hershey that much since she’s not a regular unfortunately, the impostor theory seems like a good way to go get around having her seem like a really big threat yet not have to use the actress all the time until they’re ready for the battles between Hook/Cora and everyone else to happen. If she’s pretending to be someone else, then she can gain intelligence on her enemies while at the same time manipulating them. If she she’s just hiding out as a rat or some kind of creature or hiding in the woods, I don’t think she could inflict as much damage over the long run in Storybrooke.
I like that imposter idea. That it is really Cora we see disguised as Regina.
That is also food for thought too what someone mentioned earlier, about the Emma and the Snow we see in pictures coming back to Storybrook is actually Hook and Cora..
So when they come up through the well and Henry sees his mother and Snow and yells “Your killing them!!” THAT is really Hook and Cora coming up through the well…
Welcome aboard. A lot of people have already theorized that the scene in the promo between Regina and Hook may actually be Cora and Hook. Regina does seem to have a lot of the same mannerisms and is dressed in a similar way as her mom. It may just be to show how alike they became, but maybe it really isn’t Regina.
We do know that Archie will be in trouble in episode 10, and that seems like such a Cora thing to do going after Archie, the only person that Regina can go to open up to right now, to get back at her daughter. I don’t know if she’ll pretend to be Regina or perhaps someone else in that episode, but if she wanted to inflict the most damage to Regina, she pretends to be her to get rid of Archie in someway making sure that she’s seen as Regina that way the whole town goes against her again especially Henry. He’s probably already going to be a little bit mad that she apparently curses Emma the moment Emma arrives back into town, but if he thinks she killed Archie or played some part in hurting him, since I don’t know if they’ll actually kill off Archie, they’re relationship is going to be even worse than before. Sure Regina has been good so far about not using magic, but if she’s in a worse spot before with Henry knowing that she’s really innocent, and getting to see Henry with the Charmings, is just going to send her over the edge again.
ETA: Sorry I missed your post Hannah, I wasn’t sure if it was on here or somewhere else where I read that. I agree though that it seems more like Cora as Regina than Regina in the promo.
