I really don’t get why people think Bae ended up in Neverland. Bae went to a land without magic (as I recall), but Neverland has magic, right? Or have I missed something?

I always thought of Neverland as having magic but I still think it is possible that Baelfire might have passed through other lands on his journey to the land without magic.

According to Barrie Neverland exists off the mainland (England) as to whether it is sky or see is unknown. So it is possible it exists in our world. What it could be is that either we have different type of magic (we have seelie and unseelie courts here and other supernatural creatures and happenings) that is more raw than in Fairytale land. It could also depend on magic from other lands that magic similar to Fairytale land. The other possibility is that these creatures are able to come into our world from other places. Perhaps through the spirit world–thinking Charles De Lint when I imagine it and the spirit world who has its own lands and such might have portals to other realms. So for someone who has magic similar to Fairytale Land they might be able to direct themselves they need to go by creating shortcuts (portals) and not get lost in the spirit world. And for those of us from a land with little to no magic it might only be achieved through dedication, practice, meditation etc but only in the way of walking through the lands rather than being able to create the portals etc.
