Ok, so he left after the curse. Then what prompted him? Blue and the other fairies were already in SB by that point so they didn’t bring him here. Unless Tink has no connection to the EF fairies and she sent Bae to our world herself. Or Bae left NL on his own, to escape? If the Lost Boys are sinister, maybe they overthrew him, wanted a new leader?

I think you found the piece of evidence to supports my claim that Captain Hook (and his crew I think) left Neverland before the curse and Baelfire left about midway through the curse. You’re also right in saying Baelfire appears to be closer to age 35 (as MRJ’s age would suggest). We know Emma arrived in SB on Oct. 22, 2011, 28 years to the day when SB was created. It’s now about a year later plus some months, making it 2013 in SB. 2013 -1977 would make Baelfire appear about 36-years-old.
