Yeah, I’m a huge LOST fan.
I got all the LOST referrences in the show.
But, I agree with RumplesGirl, I don’t get the connection here, either.

I think Tamara’s identity is as simple as – she was in the orphanage with August (and, possibly, so was Greg).
They stressed that her name is pronounced ‘tomorrow’.
That made me think of ‘Little Orphan Annie’.
Not that I think that’s who she is, just that it’s a nod at an ‘orphan/orphanage’ clue.

There are a few other ‘Orphan Annie’ clues:
In the 30’s, Orphan Annie was a popular radio show.
Quaker Oats took over as sponsor and introduced a new character – Captain Sparks (taser?).
Quaker Oats Co. is in Carlisle, PA (Greg mentions Carlisle, PA).
Orphan Annie was also a popular comic strip in a UK newspaper – “The Daily Mirror”.
