You know I do agree that Regina knows Henry better than this, that telling him that she has to kill his family would be the last thing he wants to hear. So I wonder if there is more to it? Or if she just snaps, and the arc of the story is that she is at her most evil, and than comes the redemption (which I still think is a force redemption from whatever happens from the shock treatment.) Or maybe she overhears Snow and Charming and get’s desperate and tells all that stuff to Henry, he calls her a villain, she wipes his memories of the conversation, and she comes to her senses…(as much as Regina can.)
One thing to remember is that she told Gold “If you couldn’t change for your own son? Than who will you change for?” Or something like that. Maybe she is showing transference and reflecting her feelings on to Gold.
