#4 – Wow. So this is right after Snow escapes the Huntsman. Regina discovers the Huntsman’s betrayal and sets out to capture Snow herself. One thing bothers me(in addition to obvious over the top evil demonstrated) – that in Fruit of the Poisonous Tree, Regina told the Genie that everyone assumed it was he who killed Leopold. Obviously that news didn’t travel out to the villages. Or Regina thought she could make them believe her anyway. I don’t think Regina can say with any credibility that Snow and Charming made her the Evil Queen. She chose her path. It sounds like she believes her own lies, though, which is a very dangerous place to be.
Love the possibility that she could be robbed/zapped of her magic by GOAT. Then we would see a huge contrast between Regina with magic and Regina powerless. I like it and think it’s completely plausible that this is the direction they are going. I don’t think she thinks she can live without it, but maybe Henry will ultimately show her that she can. Perfect tie-in to Henry’s desire to get rid of magic. Now I feel better.
