Is Tamara part of some cult? Why is she using religious language to describe her aversion to magic? I think she has a trouble past with dark magic, like something tragic happened to her or her parents (especially if they’re from FTL). At least we know she doesn’t really want magic for herself; it sounds like she wants to destroy magic.
I agree, her language is really telling. In the extended preview (and there’s a thread already up, btw if you wanna check it out) she calls something “the field office.” GOAT are totally working for somebody but with Tamara’s language it sounds like it’s some sort of cult that hates magic. But it’s got to be run by someone who had a negative reaction to magic. And I still think Tamara joined because something bad happened to her parents, RH and Marian.
