You forgot where Greg and Tamara then go hide in the library so they can enter dramatically…..it just cracks me up, because I agree with your timeline except for why they are hiding. Did Hook say “Hey, why don’t you guys go hide so when she comes back up we can mess with her mind?” 😆 It’s one of those things where the writers stage a scene for drama, without thinking perhaps well, logically why would it play out that way?
Edit: oh forgot, I have a theory they put a wire on Hook so they could hear what he said, so that’s how they knew. Even if the wire cuts out under the rocks of the cave, they would know to come see what’s going on.
