I think Rumple is going to be a very loose cannon for the JR6. He believes Bae is dead so his goal is to get Henry back by any means necessary, he’s not going to let a little thing called morals and ethics stand in his way. Rumple believes he’s going to die so he’s got nothing to lose by going full-on Dark One.
Regina is going to be more reigned in than Rumple. She wants Henry back but there are certain boundaries she’s going to have to adhere by otherwise Henry will reject her. For example, she can’t kill Snow even if she has the perfect opportunity to do so.
