I tend to disagree with a price for every type of magic. There is always a price when used for selfish reasons, but not necessarily for example, saving an entire town from complete destruction or magically whisking an object out of thin air. I think the failsafe diamond was a diversion used to distract everyone from GOAT’s main objective: kidnapping Henry, and would have happened whether or not magic was used to save Storybrooke. I suppose you could argue a price for all the types of magic we’ve seen, I just think it’s more important to find the price vs. the intent of the magic used.

Oh runaroundmacy, you just took the words straight out of my mouth! The motive HAS  to be important. I’m not sure Emma will ever have to pay “the price” because her magic is made from good emotions, which are based on doing the right thing. We’ll have to see though 🙂
