That is a green jacket or what ever and she replaced it with a fur vest instead. As or David teaching Snow how to fight with a sword she already knew how when she tired to get him out of prison. She is an expert with the Bow and Arrow, so I am wonder if this is where RH steps in and shows her how to use the Bow.

I think the new outfit is tan not green, but I suppose it’s all a matter of perspective. Anyway, even if Snow used a sword in 1×21 to free Charming (I don’t recall all of it), she could still be learning some new moves from Charming after the events of 1×22, because he’s an expert swordsman. Maybe they’re challenging each other in a mock-duel in order to prepare for actual combat on the battlefield.

I agree with RG that Snow already knew how to use a bow because she did so in “The Evil Queen” and Snow was still wearing her original bandit outfit. In that episode, Snow tells Regina that she’d already spent time in another woods learning to survive (which could be an allusion to Robin Hood in the Sheerwood Forest).
