okay, I knew it had to pop up sooner or later and I thought I’d google ‘once font’ and see what happens.  Turns out Geddes on dafont.com is the closet to the official once font.  and Nanum Myeongjo (Bold) is the font we saw in the pilot ‘once upon a time…’ text.

I also found the Buffy font awhile back too.  but different fandom.

there’s also Goldenbook Light and Kurosawa Serif-Book

    For those that are interested:

I registered for an account on dafont.com and posted the image, asking if anyone can identify the curly font that was used.

The fancy used for the B is Edwardian Script

The font I had originally used as a near perfect match was BonvenoCF—until Disney called me.

What was the issue? Did it make the website look too official?

Yes. It was a combination of a lot of things. That’s why our logo changed and I added certain language to the site and podcast.

Ah, thanks. Sounds like a matter of scale, then? Occasional use (eg, fan-made posters) seems okay with them.
