Question: Will Once Upon a Time‘s Snow, Charming et al rely on Hook’s expertise of Neverland while searching for Henry? –JJ
Ausiello: Hook’s familiarity with Pan’s ‘hood indeed proves helpful and thus finds him leading the group through the jungle — at first. Alas, no sooner does the pirate save Charming from a fatally “thorny” situation does he realize that Neverland has changed, for the worse, in the maaaaany years since he last visited. What then? Let’s just say they take a cue from Dora.[adrotate group="5"]"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"October 1, 2013 at 7:11 pm #213387RumplesGirlKeymasterI understand the Dora reference but I don’t know what they’re getting at.
Also…”thorny” situation. Do the trees and bushes of NL come to life or something?

October 1, 2013 at 7:19 pm #213392HappyEndingsSpectatorWwhy can’t Regina clear a path like she did in WL with the bushes? Are these the same bushes that like the ones in WL?
October 1, 2013 at 7:29 pm #213393JosephineParticipantI listen to that darn map nearly every day. It weasels itself into your brain until you find yourself singing it hours later while walking through the grocery store.
Actually this is sort of playing back into “Jake and the Neverland Pirates”. Don’t they also have a map that they always consult?
Keeper of Rumplestiltskin's and Neal's spears and war paint and crystal ball.

Peter Pan is Swiper. We have to tell him no swiping.

Probably different bushes. And because the WL episode was one 42 min episode where you needed all the action to happen in a set amount of time. This NL is taking us 11 episodes. You can’t just have Regina POOF the trees away or POOF Henry to her side. The arc would be over in an instant. You have to create watchable TV.

So, Neverland has become even more thorny than the last time Hook was in NL, meaning overgrown and wild perhaps. Maybe PP control the vines of the island similar to how Regina and Cora both used vines to enforce their wills. It could also mean that Peter Pan’s madness has grown ever more dangerous the closer he’s gotten to what he wants (i.e. Henry) the same way that Rumple descended into madness the closer he got to the dark curse being cast. In both cases, the closer PP or Rumple got to achieving his goals, the madder they became.

I wonder with Hook as a disttraction/possible hindrance, Pan was somewhat contained. I do want to see Hook and Pan have their relationship because it is part of their fairytale.
Keeper of Hook and Emma's smoldering first kiss, a certain Pirate's sauciness, the Evil Queen's snarkiness, Grumpy's gruffness and a drop of true love to make it all go down smooth.

The tree that fuels NL was dying or something and they had to save it with help from the creepy dude who reminded me of a flying Felix but it is really Pan.

I wonder with Hook as a disttraction/possible hindrance, Pan was completely unretrained. I do want to see Hook and Pan have their relationship because it is part of their fairytale.
I really want to know how much interaction Hook and PP have had in the past. Because so far he’s only interacted with Felix on screen yet Hook seems to know things that would require him to have set foot on the island.
