We saw that when the shadow rips your shadow off you die with Greg. So how come PP didn’t die wasn’t his shadow ripped from him too?
PP does have a shadow. I posted these screencaps in another thread a few days ago…
Hmmmm, So the shadow is a completely separate entity to PP. So whose shadow is the shadow?
All magic comes with a price!
Keeper of FelixWhen I originally posted the screencaps, RG suggested that perhaps it IS Pan’s shadow, but it’s not permanently detached.
Alternatively, it’s a completely separate entity and not part of Pan at all.

The shadow has to be by the original person and to actually carry someone like Bae was how can a shadow do that PP wasn’t able to see what his shadow was doing.
Also, Felix comment to that one kid that PP never fails really doesn’t fit nor makes any sense and it just doesn’t sit right. So does this mean the Home Office(Lost Boys) controls PP or what.
I posted something similar. Pan said himself it’s easier to make someone hate something and then believe. I think that’s why Greg died. He didn’t have the right belief.
I don’t know we know enough just yet to make conclusions about how a magical entity behaves. It could be a separate conscious entity or it could be a construct that Peter controls, it could even be similar to Ruby’s wolf transformation. Perhaps every time Peter does it, he loses more of his hope, and belief in magic, but is unaware he is paying that price. It could be quite ironic that the very ability that is the core of his powers might be slowly consuming all the magic everywhere.
It puts me in mind of another Peter who struggled with a shadowy costume/entity, Peter Parker. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Venom_%28comics%29
I do think Peter is in charge. That was what Felix meant, that Peter is in charge and determined and so far in Felix’s evil lackey opinion, the boss always gets what he wants, eventually.
“If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is, because everything would be what it isn't. And contrary wise, what is, it wouldn't be. And what it wouldn't be, it would. You see?” -- Lewis Carroll, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland & Through the Looking-Glass
I wonder what happens to the shadows that have been ripped? Greg’s shadow looked the same as the shadow, perhaps it’s not the same shadow we’ve been seeing?

Keeper of FelixI think Peter and the Shadow can separate and come together at will. I don’t know if the Shadow controls it or if Peter does.

I think A and E said something similar at D23, didn’t they? About how Greg and Tamara believe all the wrong things.
Found the references I was looking for:
Once is a show for believers. Greg and Tamara do not believe. That makes their heart dark. #ouat #d23expo

Greg and Tamara stand for everything Adam and Eddy hate about cynicism. #OnceUponaTime #D23Expo
