    Here is a screen-cap of the magical map of NL:
    Neverland

    I noticed that when Emma accepted her identity as an orphan, the map of Neverland magically manifested with a rainbow, similar to when Emma broke the curse. So far, I think we’ve only seen a rainbow when True Love’s Kiss has broken the sleeping curse. What if Emma, being the embodiment of True Love, somehow unlocked the first clue into breaking the curse that NL could be under? Pan said Emma is the only one who could lead them to Henry. Is that merely because she was abandoned? I don’t think so, since Hook, Rumple, and Regina (to a lesser extent) have all dealt with feelings of abandonment. Could Pan be testing how strong Emma’s maternal true love magic is?

    Didn’t even notice the rainbow. Nice catch. I can’t decide what Pan wants from Emma. Almost as if he doesn’t need her to be the savior..but the orphan. The map only worked when she admitted to feeling that way. Slurpeez may be on to something with the theory that Pan needs a mothers love–Emma’s love–for something as much as he needs Henry’s heart.

    We also saw the rainbow when Pinocchio and Emma came through the wardrobe.

    Interesting! Looks like they’re very similar with a couple of things moved around a little (Skull Rock is in a different location).

    I think you could be on to something Slurpeez. It looks like Pan is testing Emma just like he tested Henry. I think he knows that they are both powerful and wants to use that power. Perhaps he is trying to break the Neverland Curse (if it exists) through Emma.
