So we will see Dr Whale this episode.

Not at all surprised. We know 309 is Henry’s adoption story, so I suspect this is SB of the past. Nice to see him come back!

So, is Dr. Whale in SB in a flashback or the present day? He obviously didn’t deliver the baby when Emma gave birth. Is Dr. Whale going to give baby Henry a routine check-up that most newborns get? Or could Dr. Whale have played a bigger role with the Home Office either intentionally or unintentionally? Has Dr. Whale really known who he is he all along?

I’d say flashback for sure. Present day is up in the air for me.

Yeah my conspiracy wheels are turning: quite a few people have suspected that Dr. Whale was part of THO given his hatred for magic in preference to science. Maybe he helped Regina select a child? But for some reason his cursed self was drawn to Henry without knowing why.

I said this in the “who’s filming” thread, but I’m imagining new-mummy Regina taking baby Henry to the doctor for something. It would be interesting to see her acting all unsure of how to look after a fragile baby.

Or, something else that just popped into my head…if those “someone wants to get pregnant” rumours do turn out to be about Regina in flashback like some of us have suspected, there’d most likely be a doctor’s visit involved in that part of the story.

Sure. Doctor Whale tells Regina that she can’t get pregnant which leads to the adoption of Henry. And then possibly a check up of the little one.

Good point, Phee! Regina getting a medical exam makes total sense if the curse kept her infertile!
