Regina is addicted to magic just like Rumple is. However, whereas Rumple has admitted he has a problem to Belle, Regina doesn’t think she has a problem. She blames everyone else for everything that goes wrong for her and she stopped using magic just to prove she could because she wanted to “win” Henry back. Regina herself has said that magic is how she always got everything she wanted so now that Henry is at stake, Regina wants to use magic to get him back safe.
